About

Camila Rodriguez, MFT

Hi! I am Camila

A lifelong search for meaning led me to mindfulness, therapy, and deep healing. Now, I help others find their own path.

I have spent my life exploring the depths of human experience—both personally and professionally. My journey has taken me through psychology, mindfulness, trauma healing, and self-inquiry, not just as a practitioner, but as someone who has lived it. In this journey, I have discovered that:

"Healing isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about remembering who you are."

How I Got Here

For as long as I can remember, I have been searching—not for something outside of myself, but for a deeper understanding of who I am. That search led me to:

Studying psychology and trauma to make sense of my own experiences
Training as a meditation teacher to explore presence beyond the mind
Traveling to monasteries, retreats, and remote landscapes, learning from different traditions
Working with individuals and communities to uncover what healing truly means

Over time, I learned that healing is not a straight path—it’s a spiral. Growth doesn’t come from “doing more.” It comes from learning to trust yourself again.

What Guides My Work

Depth and Mindfulness

Healing isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about learning how to sit with yourself in a way that feels safe, honest, and freeing.

Trauma-Informed & Holistic

Our minds, bodies, and emotions are deeply connected. I integrate somatic awareness, mindfulness, and self-compassion in every aspect of my work.

Culturally Aware & Inclusive

Healing is shaped by personal and cultural experiences. My work honors the complexity of identity, belonging, and lived experience.

Education & Training

EMDR Trained

My work is deeply informed by my experiences as a mother, adoptee, and Latina woman. I blend evidence-based psychological methods, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and spiritual presence.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking for my kids, walking my dogs, painting something messy, or enjoying quiet moments with tea and a notebook.

This work is sacred to me—it would be an honor to walk beside you.

I work best with people who:

  • Are emotionally aware, but still feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve
  • Have done therapy or self-development work, but sense there’s more to uncover
  • Are navigating life transitions, identity shifts, or a quiet inner unraveling
  • Carry deep sensitivity, creativity, or a longing for something more soulful and true
  • Want to move beyond survival — toward presence, alignment, and belonging
  • Are ready to relate to themselves with more honesty, curiosity, and compassion
