THERAPY SERVICES

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is integrative and personalized, drawing from mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and attachment-based work. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or high levels of stress, our work will focus on uncovering what’s no longer serving you, strengthening your inner resources, and building lasting change. This is a collaborative process—rooted in curiosity, care, and cultural awareness. Together, we’ll identify the patterns holding you back and support the parts of you ready to grow.

What to Expect

1

Initial Consultation

We'll start with a thorough assessment using evidence-based intake methods to understand your history, attachment patterns, and current concerns. Drawing from IFS and somatic approaches, we'll identify your goals and build a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This is also a chance for us to determine if we're a good fit.

2

Ongoing Sessions

Regular 50-minute sessions integrate multiple evidence-based modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS) to work with your inner parts, CBT techniques for shifting thought patterns, somatic awareness practices, and mindfulness-based interventions for nervous system regulation. We'll adjust the approach based on what your system needs week to week.

3

Integration & Progress

We'll use validated outcome measures to track your progress and regularly assess how therapy is supporting your goals. As you build capacity for self-regulation, self-compassion, and insight, we'll work toward sustainable change — not just symptom relief, but a deeper relationship with yourself.

How I Can Support Your Healing

AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

Anxiety & Stress

Using somatic experiencing, polyvagal-informed techniques, and mindfulness practices, we'll work with your nervous system — not against it. You'll learn to notice activation patterns, widen your window of tolerance, and respond to stress with grounded presence rather than reactivity.

Depression & Emotional Numbness

Through IFS parts work, behavioral activation, and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), we'll gently explore what's underneath the heaviness. We'll work with protective parts that may be shutting down emotion, reconnect you with vitality, and build pathways back to meaning and engagement.

Life Transitions & Identity

Drawing from narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment-informed approaches, we'll navigate change with intention. Whether it's grief, career shifts, motherhood, or cultural identity, we'll honor the complexity of your experience and make space for who you're becoming.

Trauma & Emotional Wounds

Using IFS, somatic experiencing, and trauma-sensitive mindfulness, we'll approach trauma at the pace your nervous system can handle. These evidence-based methods help process stored traumatic material without re-traumatization — supporting integration, safety, and repair over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost?
Individual therapy sessions are $200 per 50-minute session. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. I am an out-of-network provider but can provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement.
How often will we meet?
Most clients attend therapy once a week, especially at the beginning. As you progress, we might adjust to every other week. Consistency is key to making progress in therapy.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, I exclusively provide therapy through secure telehealth sessions. I am licensed to work with clients who reside in California and Florida only. Virtual therapy provides the same quality of care as in-person sessions with added convenience and accessibility.
What should I expect from my first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to understand your concerns and goals. We’ll discuss confidentiality, my approach, and begin creating a plan for our work together.
How long does therapy typically last?
The duration varies based on your goals and the complexity of your concerns. Some clients achieve their goals in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll regularly assess your progress and adjust as needed.
